"

Claire is brilliant at her job. She is imaginative, kind, gentle, but purposeful. She listens, absorbs, and works along side me. She creates a safe environment where one feels completely able to unload, knowing that your worries and problems will be treated with respected and not minimised or dismissed. I will miss our sessions but have benefited enormously from them”

Everyone will experience difficult times in their lives and may need that extra support. A good therapeutic relationship is essential. I believe that finding the right therapist for you is one of the most important decisions you will make when it comes to seeking support. I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where we can explore your difficulties together. I can support you to gain a better understanding of your difficulties and build skills and strategies to achieve better wellbeing.

I have extensive experience and training in working with adults, children, adolescents and families. I am trained in a large range of evidence-based therapies, however I will always consider your individual needs and tailor therapy to you. I work integratively according to the needs of my clients. This means that I may draw on more than one psychological model to best fit you. The main models I use to inform my practice include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), systemic approaches, and psychodynamic concepts. I also use mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I currently work in the NHS leading a service for veterans with acute mental health difficulties.
